The MORI Peristaltic pump is suitable for the soft and delicate transfer of whole, destemmed and crushed grapes, musts or dense liquids, wine or juice. Operation occurs without the use of an impellor or a mechanical device, instead only by the pressing the soft food grade tube with a rotative piston. The Mori Peristaltic Pump is multi-purpose with an auger fed hopper to be attached for use under a destemmer and then during non-vintage bell housings are attached to allow the unit to be used for general tank and barrel filling.
The MORI Peristaltic pump is an oxygen free, no-risk pump for transferring product throughout the winery. Because the wine does not come into contact with any components of the pump except the soft food grade interior of the tubing, there is no risk of contamination from the pumps parts or lubricants. The tubing is easily sanitised, with no place for organic matter to become trapped.
